DBinCO had a great idea to post a "What's this" for old/antique items.
Can anyone guess what this is? It's one of DBinCO's trinkets.
Any guesses?? mellow.gif huh.gif blink.gif mellow.gif

Howdy All,
This is just a guess but an educated one! huh.gif

I think that is an OX shoe, back in the day they pulled wagons with Oxen and they have a split hoof. The picture is one half of an Ox shoe? rolleyes.gif

Happy Trails,
Johnny

The above picture is clearly evidence that the Mars Opportunity has discovered a prehistoric artifact, I submitted these findings and my speculation to JPL and they confirmed what I was thinking.

Here is their response:

In response to your image submittal we have had numerous coversations regarding this historic piece, We are not clear on whether to release this image to the public as to all the controversy that would ensue.

Upon further analysis of the Image, we have decided that your speculation about said downloaded image is in direct policy violation of what we can release to the general public for typical viewing.

We would like to recommend you destroy the submitted image and for National Security we advise you disavow any and all knowledge of participating in this discussion.

Yours Quietly,
MSS Senior Image Analyst

Kom Pletecoverup

So anyway, I decided to spill the beans, I know what it is and I have had it confirmed.

The above image is clearly a ancient relic, currently referred to in this day and age as a COMMA. Rumor has it that there are also QUOTATION MARKS that were used by these advanced people back then.

Well I guess that one wasn't very tough , but it does show ya how many Old Timers we still have around , grin ! You got it LilTimmy :D The neat thing about Ox Shoes is their possible age as the Spaniards also used oxen to pull their wagons and carts as did the settlers who eventually " Tamed " the wild west :o
So , these relics could be several hundred years old , and since that's about 12 years older than me , I can't say for certain exactly how old this particular comma er I mean 1/2 shoe is ! blink.gif One thing is for certain about this one , it was hand forged , and if that doesn't get some responses from some of you people , I'm gonna wonder how many of you are sleepwalking ! B)
Beam me up Scotty -I mean Redpaw ----- a Comma , roflmao laugh.gif

I had a lot of fun writing that out, I knew as soon as I saw johnnys' answer that I may as well have some fun with the whole speculation idea.

I was wondering if anyone caught the hidden message in the Signature for the Image Specialist? ( Kom Pletecoverup ) say it out loud a few times....

Thanks for the laughs, and lets do this again.

Howdy All,
WOW this is staggering.... just think this may be evidence that OXEN came from Mars! :o No wonder the government is covering it up.... laugh.gif
By the way, Gat, how is your Mars drywashing coming along... does one file mine claims on Mars with NASA or directly with the JPL? blink.gif

I cant beleve it ive been looking for my oxens shoe for weeks now.I thought for sure it would never be found. Now when i bot Blue (oxen) the guy i got him from a big big man name Paul he told me that Blue was acting like he was loosen it but i thought he was talking about Blues atatude for being let go!
Any ways i didnt beleve Blue when he told me the rover took it. Man the air is thin up here i keep hearing things,The other day i was at the claim site drywashing as i aways do up here when i heard mine mine mine mine i looked to the sky to see the seagul that should have been flying over and to my suprise no seagul i heard it again behind me i looked down and it was the rover mine mine mine mine mine
hehehe.
On a more sireus note Johnny thay the NASA-FS say thay wont give out any aprovel for a claim here because of the indangerd rover theres only two left on this world and the FS is trying to close all accses to mars till thay find a way to repopulate the species but thay got all quit when i showed them my confrention card an said i have the right to be here. Besides cant get back to earth till thay send a ship so till then im adiggin :D seeya all when i get back tc

That is not an ox shoe. It's a piece of ancient armor.

Didn't you know that dinosaurs had body armor? Yep, sure did! And that is an armored claw for what looks like a raptor-type of dinosaur.

And if you beleive that then you've been hanging around the BLM waaaaaay to long!
