Been rockhounding recently and have a ton of these guys thought id share and see what you guys think, these are my best finds since ive been rockhounding!!
I believe i know what all of it is but i am still researching to be sure enjoy! Ok so the white scalenohedrals i believe are Calcite The brown colored crystals i was told is pseudcubic Calcite but i was thinking it could maybe be dolomite And last the red/orange/yellow balls i believe to be siderite but i have had someone tell me baryte Just wanted to share my finds and see if you guys agree on my identifications. |

Very sweet finds! I can't say for sure if you are correct on the id'ing but sounds like you are on the right track. A hardness and a specific gravity test will help narrow it down a bit.
