Oh my yes, going out still... blew my shins out yesterday prospecting a new area for no pay off - but at least I know now... rather than the 'ol question of: I wonder if there's crystals up there? Hit up my new(ish) area again, 4th times the charm - I've sorta kinda been hit or missing digging in that area, tried slightly above and to the right of my previous current hole - not much luck other than more of that purple stuff in high concentrate. But didn't find any evidence of crystals - sadly for my sanity, my over burden went directly into my previous hole... SON OF A !!! Thankfully however, it didn't cover the left side of the hole - the area I most recently got some crystal fragments - something over nothing - anywho, I tried again higher than where I'd last found those - this time to left, sadly again I think I may have over shot where the pocket actually is - but this time watched where my over burden ended up - after about an hour or so of digging with no signs of crystals - took a quick "safety break" to stretch the legs - and ended up back in that left hand side of the first hole - found a really nice double termination - clear as clear can be, quartz. I personally love it - it's in my quality collection next to my bed thumbsupsmileyanim.gif All n all, another good day until the cold got the better of me - packed out by about 430pm - there's always next time - dancing_smiley.gif

happy112.gif I've been giving a lot of thought to "my," endless pocket - On that note... I came to the realization that the area I thought to be "Long Hollow," is NOT in fact, "Long Hollow," at all. Which, is nice for me, considering I stated that's where my pocket is at... wooo, load (pun intended) off my mind. I really want to get a claim set up for that area. As far as the pocket goes, itself.. I have options - again, knowing... what I know now... gunna try and get some "plates." I have at least three, yes, three! directions I can dig - and still produce quality smokey quartz and/or water quartz crystals. Two of said directions, I know are and will shatter upon extraction. Is what it is. The third, and majority water quartz... is more or less within solid rock. emoticon-misc-004.gif No problem as I have the tools ness. (aside from a pick axe.. jawdrop.gif ) Anywho - If all else fails - and there's finally, FINALLY a gawd damn end (not that I'm complaining) end, to said - endless pocket - the area formally known (to me) as Long Hollow has many other routes to take and/or look for smokeys, topaz, fluorite, and amazonite. - - -

- - - Once the trails open again!
