Hello every one!
Hope this posting finds you and yours in good health.
I'm a new lifetime member of the Colorado prospector club, and have been
prospecting for 32 almost 33 years now. I'm very excited to be a member in
this club.
In the past, its been well.. as most of you know a pain in
the --- to get a claim in the first place, then the other hassles of being
able to work the claim after you get it.
Well after meeting Dan and Denise and the kids. Prospecting with them, and talking to them about their new site, and my interest in increasing my own business for my dredging school I became a member, and a very happy one too.
To me the membership made life a bit easier, happier, less stressful, and
gave me confidence in the knowledge of laws that protect yours and our
rights to pursue the minerals we seek. Plus there is the open land posted.
I said to my self "how can I lose?" The only answer I came up with was, ya can't so I ask you the same thing.
I hope to see and meet you all out there on the creek, and may your vial be
a Mayo Jar.

Think this would be a great time to mention Gats Dredging School.
Since meeting Gat, we have quickly grown to be good friends.
Gat has been prospecting a long time and the fact he loves to teach it is wonderful.
We are delighted to have him and the school be a part of ColoradoProspector. :D

Just a short comment for clarity...... :)
We will post this in several places, we feel it needs to be seen. ;)

We here at Colorado Prospector are working actively to educate the public, promote small-scale mining, and network with other clubs and organizations such as the DEF/Dredge Earth First and the MRT/Miners Response Team to actively achieve these goals.
Our goal to educate the general public will be achieved through websites, forums, free rallies and educational seminars to demonstrate the modern day small-scale mining equipment of today. We also wish to demonstrate the proper use of the different types of equipment as well as the proper guidelines, regulations, and laws to follow while exploring, prospecting, and sampling minerals and gems on (Y)OUR public lands and forests.
Our intent is not and will never be to instigate confrontations, but rather to educate the unknowing as to what can occur should a person be unfortunate enough to encounter such a confrontation.
