You gotta love it when panning down your bigger mesh size and the yellow starts to peek through. Just starting on the concentrates from last weekend.

Running a teaspoon of +50 concentrate on the miller table. Lots of nice color in it.

Weather looks like crap through late next week... and I'm gonna be out of town Wed-Mon or Tue :(

I imagine this latest few days of snow will definitely bring the creek up.

Had a few hours yesterday before work and ran 6 half inch classified buckets. Panned about 1/3 of the +50 concentrates. Looks promising for 6 buckets.

My AM dredge has shipped from Canada, eh! The pump from HF and hoses/camlocks from Central state are sitting in my garage; I'm hoping to test it out on CC soon. I'd like to go do some digging this weekend, but it's not looking good. I'm glad J is able to work what we dug up....I've got unworked cons still from the last three outings. Those pics are very encouraging!

The search for a new vehicle is in full swing now. I checked out a badass Jeep Unlimited X model this week, but I want more storage room that's not on top. I've got my eyes set on a Tacoma or other suitable light pickup with good clearance. If you have any good leads, feel free to send them my way. I'm ditching the beemer, so this needs to be a daily driver.

I might try and get down there on Saturday and dodge the T storms.

Here is the gold from 6 buckets I ran about 10 days ago. Not too shabby for 6 buckets.

Hit the creek on Saturday with Emac. He was testing out his new dredge. The crick has come up considerably, and I was no longer able to get to the other side. On my first bucket through my sluice, I saw the largest piece of gold yet, it was big enough I plucked it out with two fingers and stuck it in my Pan. I showed Eric, and he also said it was the biggest piece of gold he has seen come out of that creek. Sadly, about an hour after I showed it to him, a gust of wind sent my pan with gold tumbling down the rocks, and I never did find it. :(

I can confirm that was the biggest piece of gold I've seen there. It was hammered flat, and I mistook it for a leaf in the pan until I saw it wasn't moving. I feel so bad for you!

Water is definitely up; it's higher now than it was on Saturday. With the rain and warmth, I suspect it'll be even higher:

Water height
Water flow
