Hi to everyone.

I have been looking for a website like this for sometime now.
I am quite new to prospecting and have so many questions for you guys.
I have 4 questions today
a- Are there metal detectors that are made specifically to prospect gold only?
b- which is the best if they exist?
c- Can they locate gold at a very deep depth?
d- Can they be used on land and in water?

Look forward to receiving your replies.
Thanks

There are a couple "low end" options. I've been trying out a new Gold Monster 1000, which works good on small gold in mineralized areas. The Gold Bug II is another good small gold detector but requires some serious practive to get used to.

From there, you're in to the several thousand dollar range, but they'll go deep.

But if you're looking in Colorado, unless you're on rare rich ground, Colorado isn't known for large nuggets.
