Today the paperwork was filed for the First of the MRT Mining Claims.

A group of Small Scale Miners got together and filed for 80 Acres in good gold bearing land and have the Intentions of filing for even more.

The whole intent is to have Gold Placer Claims available for people who share our interests in Goldmining be able to come on by and have a place to go without major guesswork involved.

It is the Intent of these claims to be named in a similar fashion like this:

MRT "What Fish?" or
MRT "Heavy Metal" or
MRT "Blah Blah Blah"

In naming all the claims using the initials MRT first, it will make LR2000 claim search status and location easily accessable for the people of the MRT to locate various properties that they can use.

Actual Names on the Claim Locator / Holders will recieve copies of the Official Documents and Cards signifying their Proof of Ownership. It will be upto those Claim Owners to make available these properties to anyone else outside the group and usage by guests accompanied by owners is highly encouraged in our desire to dispel the myth of Goldminers.

We will lead the way in Land Stewardship and Proper Conduct in the Outdoors while working with State Agencies to reform their opinions of past scenarios.

Uniting Miners towards a Bigger Goal.

Howdy All,
WAY TO GO Redpaw!! :)

Let me see now... Oregon... that's the state on the left coast about halfway between LA LA Land and the Emerald City?

We just got a little trailer to pull with the Jeep.... Oregon road trip... just the thing to dream about since we are snowed in up here in glorious Gunnison.... not that much snow right here in town but they have had over 3' up on the passes in the last couple of days. Have to see how the season shapes up maybe around the end of May.... when does spring come to the new MRT claim?

Happy Trails,
Johnny

Johnny,
July August will be no wetsuit swimming with some parts of September.

Your more than welcome to come on up and have a go at it. The Island depicted in the above posted map is a HUGE bedrock abutment that is just ripe for playing in on and around.

I'm currently in contact with the Forest Service as to properly place the claim signs around the claim. Up here they have to be Eco-friendly and Non-intrusive to visual sight patterns found in humans.

As soon as the claim is properly staked it will then be Photo'ed for documentation and various areas will be upload to the net for visual inspection, such as:

Access, Parking, Camping, Trails, Outcroppings, along with a list of all known rules and regs to be followed while mining.

Coming soon.

Brief glimpse into what is going on....

Currently we have 4 miners that will sign the Official paperwork for the existing 80 acres at the Salem Gold Show. The following Monday I will run upto Portland and Hand deliver the Documents to BLM.

Rumors have it that 3 additional miners + myself are now looking into the next watershed to the north for 60 more acres. details as soon as I know more on those claims.

Myself and another Miner are interested in signing a quit deed claim on our claims and opening them up to other miners to get 40 additional acres 9 miles down river from MRT FREEDOM.

All these properties will be made available to people active in the MRT, we are trying to snag up as many properties as we can so Oregonians and their Guests can come and have a good time without any hassles or major groundwork to do.

How this is working in Oregon.
26.00 for county recorder
135.00 additional goes to BLM
___________
161.00 is the final total split between as many people as we have per claim document

Each signature allows the claimant to have 20 acres, so 4 sig's gets 80 acres.

The only problems we have are getting all the signatures on the forms before filing for these claims, it is very convienent that the gold show will be bringing all the potential claim owners together for a signature festival.

so for right now we are singing for the 80 acres, with a potential for 60 more in the next watershed ( good area ) and additionally 40 more from my & a buddys claim...

trying to juggle all these people and their signatures is the only hardtime so far...

I'm looking into southern Oregon near Myrtle Creek, and Washington claims in the near future. Thank god we are splitting the fees....or none of this would work for me.

As one of the participants in the 80 acre claim above, I cannot tell you how tickled I am about this whole thing! I am also currently researching some areas just to the north of this claim as well. Rest assured that even if I end up purchasing whole claims myself, the beginning letters in every claim name will be MRT and available to all involved..

These are not hammered-out dried up claims like you see in the GPAA guide, these are areas that historically have been gold producers and could/will be again!

As a fairly new miner, I cannot sufficiently express my thanks for all the help Redpaw has given me. Always willing to answer all my newbie questions with nary a blink of the eye!

Here's to the beginning of what looks to be a great time for the small-scale miner!

I'm going to be loading the Pictures from the 80 acres claim, you will not believe this at all........just remember these are HIGH WATER SHOTS.

ASTOUNDING ACREAGE and Unbelievable Opportunity to have a great time either fishing, rafting, swimming, Tanning, or just plain old laying out and having a cold one....

Edited
I sent various people the link to the new pages, ask Mr.CP for the link as I do not want the whole world to know where it is.......available to MRT people

This is so COOL......

Here is a brief glimpse, looking down river to the staircase. The Staircase will be to the upperright in the image where you can see a small section of beach between the nook in the rocks.

Hey Carl,
The MRT is the most expensive free club you can join!

C'mon, Anybody wanna join? No dues, except time and gas and effort! No regularly scheduled meetings, only hastily called gatherings! No potlucks, just after meeting victory sessions at local cafes or waterin' holes! Come as you are! No giving in without a fight! Are you in? QJ :D

Coalbunny Asked: Ok, ok. How much to join MRT? What are the terms and conditions?

There are no join up fees, no T-shirts, No membership dues....etc.....

Everything you ever thought about joining a standard club just throw it right out the window.

When your MRT everyone knows your MRT, MRT is about action and leadership for the masses who will come about and make changes to the current atmosphere and stereotype of mining.

MRT is helping others when they need a wrong righted, MRT is standing up for others when they are down for the count, MRT is for education towards recreation and the rights of Miners in the Outdoors.

MRT is about standing up for others besides our user group when they need help fighting for our other Heritage and Cultural rights.....

MRT is a mindset of Change, Unity, Willingness to STAND UP

MRT is a Mindset

MRT is a Policy

MRT is a Standard above others.......

Actions speak louder than words, and the actions shown is what makes you a MRT.

We know who the MRT is, where they are heading and the directions needed, Your willingness to be MRT is welcome.

Haaaa Haaaaaa Funny Carl and I know your serious....,

What we'd like to see is active participation or involvement with issues that affect us as Miners, Ranchers and Loggers.

After a discussion between certain MRT members, we came to an agreement that we'd like to see past involvement or current issues being stood for that will rightfully allow a potential person to have a place at the river.

We'd like to know what you can bring to the table to help us to help others, we are not turning people away, nor are we requiring constant everyday active participation but yet we are asking for future members of the MRT to be there for others and to help unite miners into a single voice.

If a person is singlehandedly, or as a member of a club ( with club support ) is currently involved in upholding legal rights and education then we'd like to know about it upfront and we would like to welcome them into the MRT.

We don't feel that this is too much to ask, we'd like to know a little about each and every person and their involvement with upholding our small scale mining rights that will strengthen our goals.

When we can know the background of our members then we can use these characteristics and traits of experience to further our fight to keep issues in the open and enlighten others to specific areas where they may need explaining or guidance to others who may not be experienced in the field of this Member.

Miners generally come from a diverse background and it is these backgrounds that will help to solidify our strength through communication and expertise with the issues that we face. We'd like to think of ourselves as a collective force willing to extend our experiences and knowledge with each other to bring about change.

So Carl, How can we help you to help us to help others? What can we do for each other?. Mining is a byproduct of our efforts, and it is these efforts that have to come first before we can mine today, tomorrow or ever.

REDPAW of the Oregon MRT
