Hey everyone,

We have had the suggestion from several folks that want to hear about filing claims.

Other topics that can and will probably come up during this discussion....
Claim markers and signage....
Claim paperwork filing do's and don'ts.... etc.
Hope to see everyone on Monday evening. 3/28/05
CP's Conference Hall

Dan, I'm unable to get into the chatroom. Can I have the transcript? And have you considered doing a checklist and advisory packet?

I would apprecaite a chance to chat with you sometime, as I have a lot of questions regarding new legal procedures.

Back when I did any hardrock, I wasn't the one that did the permits. So now I'm "new" to this permit gig and certainly don't want to get jerked around like up in Wyoming. But so far, from what I have seen, I need about $4,000 in permits just to get started.

Hello everyone,

Bad news this week.
I inadvertently turned the transcripts off last night and didn't realize it. <_<
My deepest appologies to all, it will NOT happen again.

We had another wonderful meeting last night, thanks to all who participated.
Hope to see everyone next week.
Maybe we will do a recap on this weeks topic of filing claims... -_-

Thanks Russ that is exactly what we need to do....spread the word wide and far.

Carl we need to get together soon. I'll get in touch with you on the phone soon as I can.

10-4 Dan. I got a item or two for ya.

Don't know if you have my current numbers or not (having a blond moment). 719-395-1979 is land line and 719-239-0483 is mobile/business line. Land line may end up getting disconnected for a bit (some stupid Qwest repair garbage) so mobile is best (plus it has voice mail and land line doesn't).

We have decided to have a repeat of last weeks Conference.
There have been several people still asking questions about filing claims, so hopefully this will help.
We hope to see everyone Monday.

ive gone to the corps of enginerrs site http://www.usace.army.mil and started downloading all of their listings and explainations of their stuff. i want to personnaly have this on hand for my info/protecting from the powers to-be. the entire CWA sec. 404(B) that people are saying we need is intended for ADDING MATERIAL/POLUTANTS for onother location and dumping it into the waters. not the description of dredge off fall materials. and a 4 inch or less dredge doesent require and permit anyway according to their own studys and the dnr,epa,fs....all come to the same conclusion about disturbances. infact most times if your only going to be in that creek for a day, the coe could issue a "letter of authorization" to get you around any permitting anyway! there has been to many different departments getting involved in this proccess and definatly to many green agenda people. these people that push their green agenda that work for the gov. should by their own deparment regulations, lose their job and not be transferred into another district so they can play their cr*ppy games there also.

Hmmm. I don't know what it is that's doing it, but I can't get in the chat room. Not through Mozilla's Firefox (my current browser) or IE 6. Don't know what's causing the problem.
