went down and dug 8 buckets of material today. Bought it home and classified it down to -8. All the extra rock went to fill in some spots in my driveway that needed more rock. ;)
Ended up with 3 full buckets of -8 material. Makeshift setup my gold buddy to provide water to my sluice (I hate the gold buddy, all it ever does is pack up with dirt, the pump that comes with it is not strong enough for the unit). Ran almost one bucket. Cleaned the sluice after just 5 scoops and found the biggest 'nugget' I have ever found.  Still small as hell, but nice and chunky and still the biggest single pice I have ever found.  And my jerry rigged setup... (sucks on a budget)...  |
