Hello, my name is Mimi and I found a couple of rocks that I have been told have gold. I would like to sell them but since I am new at this ..I am not sure how to go about doing so. Can anyone please help assist me with info on how to proceed? Thank you.

smileywaving.gif Hi Mimi and welcome to the CP forums! I deleted your other post since it was duplicate, that way all replies end up in this one. You would need to have the stones tested and verified of gold before being able to sell. It's would be really difficult to sell a smaller piece since it usually takes quite a bit of gold ore to pay off. Ore is usually crushed and the gold removed, is quite the process in hard rock mining.

Hard to tell from pics but it looks like it has quite a bit of pyrite running through it also . Very common for gold ore but gives the appearance of more gold than there really is to the untrained eye. Having it tested would be your best bet I think. Hope this info helps some. cheers.gif
