My wife and I prospect/mine together, that being said - we took a drive to a new area the other day within the same county we live in.... it's amazingly big.

Found some Colorado Opal... believe it or not. And some other cool rock specimens, some magnetic, some that have green coloring (uranium) under UV and some that just look pretty. And one for Denise cheers.gif

research.gif I'll have some really detailed information to follow this picture, in the coming days - probably some maps as well. It's all public and cannot be claimed.

Agate Mountain! Sounds good to me. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif Never heard of that location but sounds like a great adventure. I'm looking forward to reading more about it and seeing some of your finds. emoticon-misc-004.gif

Can't wait to see you both again soon.

bug_smiley.gif Sooooo sorry that I've been slacking on this post - I will get to it tomorrow evening, as we're heading back to the same area tomorrow morning.

(That's a good sign) smiley-clapping.gif

I wish I had at least taken pics, but alas I have not. Tomorrow for sure. Prospecting and digging this time too not just specimens.
Keep yer head down, eyes on the ground, looking for that next rock!
