Hi every one! Well Si and I had a great time at the Ca claim all tho it is one of the hardest claims to get too I’ve ever encountered wacko.gif I went ahead and bot the claim :D I really enjoyed meeting Si and spending time with him at the claim learning what he knows about it from the history of the area to the present day the flow of the ancient river crossed the creek of present day :) the old timers did work the creek and the way they did it was amazing there is the reminisce of a flue they built on the side of the mountain they sure worked harder then any one now days. Any way here are a few pictures of my new claim enjoy.

If you think that one is bad you should try to go to the Dogtooth claim on hahns peak here in Colorado. Word of caution you need a good four wheel drive or some atv's.

Well Prospector_41 tell you what, you show me Any Motor Vehicle that can safely make it down to this claim in one piece, and out, besides a chopper of some sort, and I'll buy it!! There is no road, just a foot trail and there are places where that disappears from land slides. It's every bit of a 1/4 mile long if not more. I am sure some one could try and push in a switch back road but it would cost a mint and would most likely lose lives in the attemp.

Yes Walt there are 3 water falls from that same creek that I could see. We made it past the first one and found gold there. You will have to ask Si about his attemp to make it past the next one!!
Gat.

Thanks Wyodust i believe it was worth every dollar I paid for it. And heck yeah, that feather sure sets off that colorado prospectors club hat very well laugh.gif B)
