Stopped in walsenburg today at "main event" to see what they sell. Turns out they have some of everything....it's like a small town Wal-Mart. I picked up several chisels $1-2 each , a claw pry bar(10")$3, and a 6" vice for $10. They are all brand new but have no branding on them that I could tell. Among the things I didn't buy.....well everything else.....outdoor equipment....tools.....mre's.... tarps....hats...cooking equipment. Thought I would pass along the word in case you are ever passing that way and need something on the cheap. South side of the road across from Safeway. I'll be trying the chisels out in the next 2 weeks to check the quality.

I can't prove this but if you chisels have soft tips try heating them and then dipping them in hydrolic gear oil but be careful as you can make them
