Here is a ring i found with my detector over a year ago, i finally got it cleaned up because it was black and nasty and when i used vinager on it turned a copper color, then i used steel wool and it finally showed it's true colors. At first i just thought it was like brass or something but it has 18K stamped in the inside and that says it's gold so wow i was so surprised to see that, why it took so long for me to clean it up hec i don't know, i just thought it was trash or thought it wasn't a gold ring because of all the black that was on it. I need to do some reasearch on why it didn't come out of the ground gold, commits are welcome if any of you know why it came out that way, maybe it's because it was in the ground for so long. I need to do some more polishing on it and make it look better. There is a slit in the band and i figure that was done because someone was wanting to resize it. Man want a find.

Same ring ^ but new and improved......just got done doing some polishing on it with just a polishing cloth....WOW what a improvement.....probably not as good as a wheel but if anyone only wants to do just some quick polishing i would suggest a polishing cloth.....
