Dang!
I grew up and graduated from Sutherlin High in 1961. Go out on Plat I road and drive east about a mile and where the reservoir is and the road turns left is Leeper roard. Thats where I lived.

Is this something the SWOMA is doing, or is this your own or Hal Anthony's claim?

I ask please consider bringing your own audio and/or video recorder. There is a whole lot of information to be covered and audio and/or video recordering will reduce the need of continued repeating of information and allow time to cover a great deal more... it will also save the pain of writers cramp.

No to all of the above. This was an add I come across while looking over Portland Oregon craigslistings. But if the claims are on the creek I suspect they are, it has some major locatable mineral discovery history. A GREAT deal of prospecting/mining was done on this creek, and still is being done on the head waters of the main stem...and it has quite a number of forks before it finally empties into the Illinois river.

My dad was a great police officer in Detroit for many years helping the community.
I am really tired of hearing people making the police look bad!

Like any facet in life, there are good and bad. Lets stop labeling because of a few bad eggs shall we. rolleyes.gif There are far more good cops out there than there are bad, and I for one am very thankful they are there to help if I ever need them.

Several weeks back MEG, you were telling us that the sheriff was the authority and then you post a link like this one with no explanation and a very confusing title. confused0082[1].gif I don't understand the significance to this link or thread.
