I for one am going to be there in May. As for now anyway. It would take some major problem to keep me away. I have been talking to Dan and Denise in the chat about the different things that we will be doing.
They have arrainged with a local ranch for a place for us all to stay. I was really surprised at the cost of 100.00 a night with two meals a day included. This is a great price concidering its on a ranch in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Plus having two all you can eat meals a day to boot.Any one would be hard pressed to find a better deal. Not only that but its dang near walking distance to where we will be hunting gold.
I have been talking with the CP'S about the site that we will be digging in and they are very excited. This is a site that has not been commercially worked so theres still lots of gold there for us to find. They have done test digs there and are happy with the results. It looks like its gonna be a great time for all.
Another idea that they have is a crystal dig one of the days that were there. They have friends who have private claims. WOW could you imagine being allowed to dig huge smokey quartz. It's gonna be fun.Flourites too I think.
Already there has been a number of folks that have said that they would be there.Like I said, barring some major disaster I wouldn't miss it.
There's a limited number of open spots at the ranch and its on a first come type basis. So if anyone wants to get in on it they need to talk to the CP's.
I have really enjoyed being a part of this great group of people and I look forward to meeting some of the people that I talk to all the time. Theres also gonna be seasoned prospectors thats gonna be there. So us tenderfoots will have guidance in the field too. Many will even have thier own equipment with them. I myself am gonna build a sluice to take with me, plus I'll be in my truck.I plan on having plenty of tools of destruction and buckets to work with. It's gonna be fun.
Anyone thats interested should come into the chat Monday night. IT'S GONNA BE FUN!! Jim

Awesome Jim, we will see you on Monday night too.

Just to remind everyone.....The ranch lodging is priced per person per day.
The two meals will be breakfast and supper.
Horse back riding is also available at the ranch.....they have 3500 acres to ride on and the scenery is just beautiful!

Monday we hope to see many of you "maybe's" in chat to find out more and make reservations. It's not spring time yet but it's coming. wink.gif

Cya'll mondya.
