Sad story for those kids. I would love to hear this isn't true, but this seems to be all too common.

Victims were kids of a friend of his who's also well know in the rockhound community. Sad situation.

I am a firm believer in "innocent until proven guilty". This looks bad but I am not ready to assume guilt until I see a guilty plea or a guilty verdict. It looks like the hearing is set for Monday.

Agreed... Bit being friends with the father of the victims of. Facebook, I'm pretty convinced in this case

Also agree, which is why I choose not to comment on the evidence alleged in the arrest affidavit or what may be disclosed in future hearings.

I don't have cable tv (waste of money.i mean......who wants to pay to stare at ads half the time?!!)... but i just found some episodes on youtube after reading this.

I watched a bit last night and it looks like I'm about to binge out on YouTube tonight LOL
It's crazy because I kind of liked his qwerky way about him and could see the spark and passion in his eye when it comes to "the hunt".....what an all around bummer.
Just as I find something new and interesting something tarnishs it like oxidization on polished silver. Really dulled it for me from the get go. :(
It seems like they've got some pretty hard evidence against the guy, but he deserves the due diligence of the justice system like anyone else. Unfortunately nowadays no matter what its guilty-until-proven-innocent.
For everyone's sake I hope it's just three dumb girls that are starting crap and it's not a reality....
Around my way a man would get shot dead for that type of stuff. I know because if it was my daughter I would be the one to do it!!!

He was my favorite on the whole show. Really wanted to meet him someday.. Damn dude, that is low life stuff right there. ..as someone said earlier.. angry & sad.

His buddy who's daughters are the victims moved his family to Texas to get away from the situation... :(
Someone donated an AMAZING plate of feldspar with some INCREDIBLE smoky clusters on it; stunning piece! Then I read the information card and the donator (who passed away and his wife donated it) got it from RF. I literally got sick to my stomach... get a knot every time I walk by and look at it.

IMO this is one of the sickest more cruel crimes imaginable. However....
I also know from what I have seen elsewhere. A close friend of mine was sent up for a 12 year minimum over his wife-to-be. Everyone that knew the couple knew it was BS, but when you look at the letter of the law.... (shrug)
Whoever is guilty for this, I pray the victims recover successfully.
