Oregon,I think this is the latest one ,if so its a a bone of contention with miners as apparently if you get this permit i think you can be sued by the greenies.crazy eh
so some say dont get one.

New updates from BLM for the Arkansas headwater recreational area as well as Cache creek for 2010 can be found at.....

BLM's - Arkansas River Notice Application page, just look to the right upper corner for the Cache creek one and or the maps BLM put together for that area showing claims. Caution though, I browsed through them and have question as to the accurate layout of those claims shown (or not shown?)...... slaphead.gif spock.gif

And before anyone asks, no we don't own a claim there, but someone liked us so much they named their claim after the Colorado Prospector club? groucho.gif biggrin.gif thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Good luck out there prospecting everyone, hope ya'll find tons.

Hey everyone,

Thought this pdf would be a good update about Colorado states dredging regs or restrictions for the whole state.
For the state of Colorado in general there is no nozzle or engine limit on dredges, instead the square footage of the surface area (including stream bed) are what is gauged by the Colorado DMRS.
If you are disturbing less than the threshold stated there is no permit/notice required nor is there any limit on nozzle or engine size.

Short download pdf, only 2 pages but well worth it for those dredging in Colorado. happy088.gif Download your copy now. smile.gif
