I made this little stand to display my Campo slice.
Made from: Fiddleback Maple (scrap from knifemaking) Piece of driftwood from Lake Granby Rare Earth magnet (recessed about 1/16" into the driftwood as not to scratch the specimen) 1/8" dia Brass pin to connect the two woods Tools: bench sander and drill Level of difficulty: Easy! 20141124_160512 by ghostcreekmine, on Flickr 20141124_160443 by ghostcreekmine, on Flickr 20141124_160800 by ghostcreekmine, on Flickr 20141124_161201 by ghostcreekmine, on Flickr -------------------- /l ,[____], l---L-OlllllllO- ()_) ()_)--o-)_) BLACK SANDS MATTER! That turned out fantastic Swizz!! Displays the meteorite slab perfectly and the magnet will work great for it.
