Thought this was very interesting, ........from the article

Amazing....these new detectors can differentiate between graphite, diamonds and other minerals!

there already is a device thatll do this Dan. it works off of specific frequanceies. everything has its own specific frequancie.and its measured in the audio range of freqancies.these devices go by many names depending on who your talking to.
