Sweet day on the digs!
Check out some of the sweet purple Fluorite I got while out digging with Anita. This small Fluorite plate is going to clean up nicely. After cleaning it off more, they look to be very deep purple.

Those are certainly some nice fluorite specimens. I was laughing out loud reading about the ones with goose bumps because it was too cold. While prospecting for uranium, a couple of years ago, I came across some "hot fluorite" specimens in float as I looked for the orebody. The sandstone was impregnated with purple fluorite and uranium ore. Here's a photo of the float that I encountered and it really sets of the Geiger counter!
