I was just wondering what was the earlyest you could start dredging in California? I want to take some trips this year and so I am trying to plan them out and I think california would be a good place to start because it will be warmer there.
It would also be nice to meet up with some people on these trips so if anyone out there would like to get a trip going to California or any other state around Colorado let me know. Thanks Mike -------------------- friends don't let friends carry the cons across the river

Your not in the wrong spot. ;) The MRT has information on the rules and regulations by state........ :D Here is the link to California's http://www.minersresponseteam.org/mrt%20pa...html#California I hope this helps some. :) -------------------- Education is the key to the future,

Mike,
You can dredge year round on the Klamath below the mouth of the Scott River. Of course it will be pretty cold this time of year, but you won't have too much competition! QJ ;) -------------------- |

depending on the location:
class a: NO dredging permitted at any time class b: open from july 1st-aug 31st class c: open from 4th saturday in may through oct. 15th class d: open from july 1-sept.15th class e: open from july 1st-sept 30th class f: open from dec 1st-june 30th class g: open from fourth saturday in may through sept 30th class h: open year round. It all depends where you want to dredge. Where I'm at is considered class g.(I'm east east of the scott confluence)...if you have any idea where you want to dredge maybe I can tell you what class its considered. its too much to type here. good luck and have fun! I would just like to go for a weekend some place warm so I can get the dredge started after a few months of storage. Mabe new mexico or arizona? Thanks
