Thanks! I was torn on which side of the pinecone scales to use but I like the effect from the core. The tines kinda wrap around and grab the spine.
I have another very interesting set of pinecone scales that I bought from an artist in the Ukraine. Those will be used (or abused) on a future creation. chores041.gif

Swizz - you rock man! I'm tempted on your bird and trout, but that NPS #2 is too sweet (and too sold). I was sharpening knives earlier and got to thinking about getting one of your knives. I definitely want to get my mitts on one; I check here, and you're selling them.

I gotta catch up with you at the creek sometime to chat about it.

Thank you!
The NPS 1 is actually my personal favorite of the three. It did not fight me on every stage like the NPS 2 did. They are both very similar knives. I was happy to part with that demon NPS 2.... the NPS 1 is sadder for me to say goodbye to. That one is just a little more special IMHO.
Congrats Eric! It is a fine drop-point hunter and will outlast us both. happy088.gif
(forgot to mention, LT Warranty also covers sheaths)

Beautiful work swizz. You sure have a skill for that. Do you have an updated list of what's available?

Thanks Johnny! I have one more knife available for now. That's the Damascus Bird & Trout knife pictured on the previous page. Probably no more knives available until next year.

Johnny - I'll certainly have it out at Shavano the first week in June, so you'll be able to see it firsthand.

Someone may want to grab that bird and trout soon...I'm still tempted on that one too.

Cool yeah I'd love to see it. I've always had a thing for knives and blades.
I've skinned and cleaned a few racoons and deer with blades that size and they are perfect for everything around camp too.
I really like that bird and trout but not big on the g10 personally. The blade and sheath are flawless and beautiful.
I scrolled back a few pages and saw crustys crossdraw lapis handle and that was one of the coolest knives ever! What a beaut!!

Those Damascus blades are just mesmerizing.

It is a work of art!! Can't bring myself to carry it! lol

Speaking of that Swizz, I know you're not planning on doing any more blades. Any chance you'll have time to knock out a sheath? Would still like a "regular" carry option for it too. No hurry though.

Yes, for sure. Send it back my way. I'd also like to give it a fresh razor edge since I have the new sharpening system. happy088.gif

Rog, will bring it along next time we hook up. Speaking of that, got a guess on claim access? Want me to bring your trailer up on the first trip up of wait until we go up once and see what's what?

Should probably make a trip up there prior to see what's what after the fire. happy088.gif
I'm still currently grounded with the Jeep. The new engine arrived a few days late and now I'm pushed back on the mechanic's schedule. I'm about to call them this morning but I know they don't work weekends so that keeps me off the road until at least sometime next week, grr. I'm hoping for access before the end of the month. I'd have heard from Sig if he's made it up yet.

I'm headed out for 11-12 days of riding in UT and won't be back in town until the 5th or so. Hopefully it'll be opened up by then!
