Holy cow mike, that is quite the road trip!! Leave room in those saddle bags for your detector and some Gold.... that's mostly Gold country.
Besides mining, fishing, and biz this summer.... I have a nephew's wedding to attend next month and I'll be leading a hike on a mtn here in August to spread a friend's ashes who passed away this winter unexpectedly (brain aneurism). Awesome trip Crusty! I hope you were able to stop at Liard Hot Springs in B.C. When we drove back from Alaska in March of 2012, my older son and I hiked about a hundred yards (in about a foot of snow) from the parking lot to the hot spring and took a dip at 15 degrees (F)!
 That is something that we will never forget. I want to make that trip again maybe next summer.

You are quite the adventurous guy Crusty!! Just think......summer hasn't even begun yet.
 Since firewood is our only source of heat, I will be working on that quite a bit. It may not seem very glamorous but it's well worth it to the family.
