I'm going after work to pick up some sealant for what has to be a decent hole in mine somewhere near my hips. That was a chilly surprise on Monday to have water pouring down my leg!

I haven't been using them, so you're welcome to try out the long gloves I have before buying. I have the yellow Atlas chemical ones in medium and XL (picked up from Amazon). As long as you're not putting them deeper than just past your elbow (where the vent hole is), they'll keep you dry. I've seen Mike and Josh with blue gloves, but not sure where they got them. I'm flirting with needing a mask/snorkel the last few outings, so the gloves haven't been much use. Almost time for a wetsuit and hood!

Are you still using the cube or did you get yourself a high banker or dredge?

He got an Angus 3" dredge

The appears to be open; not sure it'll have any affect on CC. Thinking I need to get a bike and wagon or 3 wheeler and use it to haul my stuff down to one of the spots along the trail you can't access from the road!

Harbor Freight stores usually has those blue gloves that go to the shoulder for a low price.

There are more pics and some review things in the protected forum. I thought I put pics elsewhere, but could only find one of it busted here: Clear Creek Thread. The metal barrel broke a weld, but I got that sorted out quickly at a muffler shop. If it happens again, I'm modifying the connection. It's the Klondike DC from Angus, and I had them modify it to have a 2" pressure line for a 3" dredge. I'm pretty pleased with it so far. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Wow congratulations! Im glad you where able to get one! I remember that was a big wish list item.
I'll definitely pop over to harbor and pick up some armpit gloves. That water gets mighty cold when it makes it through to the sleeves. O.O

I hope to make it to Swizz and MikeS.'s very generous invites this year. I can't wait to tackle hug you all. (aww)
Booplesnoot works as an alternative to Jessie, now that I'm not the only Jessie anymore! It's a long, kind of embarrassing story how I picked up that name. But I kinda love it. >.<

Thank you! I'm super stoked that I now suck. Wait... huh.gif

Nicknames with 3 syllables are suspect; I'm with Crusty on wanting to hear the back story.

Well, it's not the meaning behind the name, which really is nothing. But where I picked it up from. Let's just call it, "The dark, dirty minded side of Twitter." CP is after all a wholesome, family orientated website.
I would hate to taint it's pristine nature! 😂

Being new to the show and to the site, what a curveball!

You've got this qwerky, likeable, super-nerdy Rock Hound finding awesome stones that's a pederass, puke.gif and the cute chick screaming Claim Jumper at everyone when she, in fact, is the actual Claim Jumper!!! smiley-laughing021.gif smiley-laughing021.gif smiley-laughing021.gif smiley-laughing021.gif

Whats next?!

I just started watching the series when I can't wait to see how this turns out LOL

Facebook is blowing up

I laughed. No doubt it was staged for the drama. This is right after she fires in the air to let someone else nearby know she was there. Wonder where the bullet landed?

Im not this far into the series yet (when this FB stuff hit realtime) but I did see the episode where she discharged into the air. I was thinking the same thing greensmilies-025.gif

QUOTE (Auger @ Dec 17 2015, 12:40 PM) *
I ignore the sex part as that's just a given ingredient in today's media. I think it is nice that the show illustrates that women are prospectors too.

With that said, I don't think they should have her on the show any more because first of all claim jumping is a sacrilege. Her still being on the show and the information quietly swept under the rug when it is a large public information lawsuit only rewards thievery and sets a bad example that as long as you pay people off you can do whatever the hell you want.

I think AAA should have to leave the show and go back to doing her own thing and The Weather Channel apologize for supporting them. Think of Subway and Jared. How quick were they to divorce him? If it were completely public Google search to see that this is simply public claim jumping on national television, every scumbag sleazeball might be inclined to look up that public info and go snatch other peoples' minerals.

As I see it, literally the only things stopping anyone from claim jumping is a conscience and the absence of the claim owner. That's it.

We don't need to encourage theft in any way.
