Redpaw sent these over from the first of the DEQ meetings in Oregon last evening.
First pic...... The pre-meeting at the rock bottom brewery was a general discussion of events to transpire, pictured from left to right is: Ron from Bedrock Prospectors, Dave from MRT, Ron from Washington Prospectors, Butch from Bedrock & Resources Coalition, QJ from MRT, Lucky from MRT & Salamander Eradication Board. Great show of miners! ALL RIGHT! From what I've been hearing you all are doing a damn fine job working together.

Here is a pic of Jim Foley from the National Land Rights League speaking and presenting testimony at DEQ Portland meeting.
I'm told Jim hammered it to the wall hard and heavy! :D Thank you Jim and all of you who are putting your heart and head into this. We all appreciate your efforts greatly! Dave shot off to get ready for tonights meeting and said he will send more when time allows. They are hustlin hard to get ready and fire away again tonight. More updates will follow and we'll post em as soon as we can, when we get them. KEEP DIGGIN ON! FULL STEAM AHEAD! OOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! :D :D

The Salem meeting went well also last night. Here are the pics! Captions provided by Rebel Red. :D :D Willamette Valley Miners lead counsel puts down the law ( in motion ) about his desires to keep his claim under the grandfather clause within a scenic waterway of Oregon..DEQ is failing to recognize this right to mine. Retired Scientist citing Federal Studies that show up to 50 NTU's cannot be deemed harmful as a spike and 29 NTU's at 300 feet have been accepted within other nearby states.

Rebel Red going on record inviting the DEQ / All Third Parties / Agenda Groups ONCE AGAIN to come out to the MRT Claim this summer and personally investigate the NTU reading of as many as 9 - 2" dredges operating within 20 feet of each other to validate the formula they imply will not violate the regulatory suppositions of their proposal. We have nothing to hide and only want to educate.
