I don't do animated graphics, but I always wanted to try a little bit to see what the potentials are...Here's my first animated graphic

I'm thinking of a animated dredge next....
Then maybe a trommel & Front end loader...

( if it stops playing , hit reload or refresh in your browser )

Looks and plays horrible in Internet Explorer.... NETSCAPE is preferred

That's awesome RedPaw! Now if you could turn it into a screensaver.... <hint>

Also, try doing one for us radicals of the bunch. You know, the one where we do a PacMan style game and pick up nuggets and eat eco-terrorists or forest rangers.... :o B)

I was working on a RMMR Banner to animate and then I got sidetracked with a few little test pictures....

Here's another one I just made, it has yet to be inside a cavern with all the overhead lights and steam....

But it is still fun to try to make...

I've somehow lost the Netscape Navigator 7.1? ability to play Animated Graphics?...I've even tried to reload with no effect?......

The animations used to play once through and then stop, now they do not play at all?, but I.Explorer will play them as a looped graphic?

I have a animation for the Colorado Rally on the MRT index page ( below the Menu on the left ) that is not playing using Netscape....I.Explorer plays it without fail.

Same here RP.

I don't know whats happening to your browsers....... huh.gif .......but I have Netscape 7.1 also, and it's working fine for me.

And by the way Redpaw...the animation on the MRT site for the RMMR is awsome!
You did a great job. THANKS!!!! That is also working for me in Netscape 7.1.

SWEEEEEEET! :D I like them both.....so can I use that last one for the http://www.coloradoprospector.com/rally04.html?!
It would look GREAT there! B) wub.gif
...........And your always welcome!

Posted by: Redpaw Jun 7 2004, 03:02 PM

Use everything you can, I'm trying to make them as presentable as I can...( kinda new )

I'll send in a private email the Argo Mine graphic, you can offer it up to them as we agreed....and where is your link on their website?

Coalbunny, You may need to clear your Internet Cache settings as they may be full. I would think that the above recommended fix would have worked.

Do you have the Netscape 7.1 exe on your computer?, if so try a re-install over the top of itself and then set permissions once again. If I lived closer to you, I'd have had it fixed already.

( P.s. A secret thanks to Dan & Denise for the Internet Fix....Group hug while no one is looking ) :D

Posted by: Coalbunny Jun 7 2004, 06:14 PM

Ooooooooo ooohoooo! Yer a pushin' it buddy! Yer a pushin' it! I already wanna hit Oregon. Maybe I'll move there JUST to pester the heck out of you and QJ and to have a feist on that BBQ'd spotted owl and fricaseid greenies! laugh.gif

My cache is set up to clear automatically, which it does.

Posted by: Redpaw Jun 7 2004, 06:25 PM

Ooooppsss, I didn't mean it like that Coalbunny...

I meant if I lived closer, I would have came over and taken a look at it and tried as a friend to fix it. But if it means that you'll come to Oregon and help with the BBQ and fighting the Greens then I reiterate my previously misconstrued statement and vilify my intent to thwart your browsers inane attempt to screw you.

and why does IE browser play the animations like they are stuttering?....besides the obvious browser layout changes....animations play like crapola on IE.

Hey Denise, did you two get the Argo graphic?, did it animate?....think it is a step up from what they have? or will it get tossed into the shaft like overburden?

For those who want to see it ( switch to Netscape for clarity ) here ya go.

WOW Redpaw to cool B) those are great :D In the first one are the two guys chasing the gold cart or is the gold cart chasing them hahaha!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
Gat.

Posted by: Redpaw Jun 8 2004, 12:09 PM

I'd like to look at it as the Miners are chasing the gold...

Hey Gat, if there is some special design or idea you can think of, I will try to put it together for you...just let me know what you'd like to see and i'll mess with it till its right ( or close to it )

Posted by: Redpaw Jul 1 2004, 02:02 PM

Hey Double D's,
Did anyone offer up the above Logo as a kind gesture of saying thank you to the Argo for permission on the rally?...

if they don't like it then oh well, it was the thought that counts....right?.

Posted by: Mrs.CP Jul 1 2004, 02:13 PM

We were talking to the owner about it at the rally, but we still need to send it to him. I will try to keep you informed.

It's a great banner, and yes its the thought that counts. :)

What are you useing for those images dave? I usually use flash to do mine. I make mine bigger too so that i take up the entire screen. I kinda am greedy like that rolleyes.gif

here's a link to my last gold one i made.

http://members.tripod.com/~ez2luv444/gold.swf

Some of you will have to open a new window and re-enter the address in. hosting issues with tripod.

Also flash player is needed. Most people have that thought so..

Paint shop pro 7, one frame at a time at 30 frames per second.

every pixel hand touched painted....I like total control and pixel calibration....I refuse to let a computer adjust the pixel color as it feels it should be, you lose clarity of the image when it animates things for you.

I'm not that good though, I'm working on a project now just to see if it is possible to do what this lady wants. If I fail?, well I guess I don't get paid.

This dragline dredge I'm working on right now is 20 x 30 pixels and will be a masterpeice when I'm done, the whole thing is....when I'm done..

one pixel at a time.....one pixel at a time......
