Joe Dorris invited us up two weeks ago, and we had a blast! We spent 3 days. The weather changed every 15 minutes or so (70 degrees, then snow, then sun, then rain), but Joe, my wife, Bob and Gordon (from back east) dug and dug. Bob found a beautiful blue topaz the size of your fist. Unfortunately hit it with a tool, but GOSH you should see that thing!
We each found about nice 15 pieces of topaz (along with some not-so-nice stuff), though, and had a ball. Joe has graciously invited us to the Smokey Hawk claim. We can't wait. We want to find another Dragon's Mouth pocket! biggrin.gif
