Taken 6/8/15 at St. Elmo. It's amazing, and a little sad, just how unafraid they are of humans at this place. Of course the store that sells bags of seeds across the street isn't helping matters. I guess it's good that at least they're selling seeds and trying to keep the people from feeding the animals all kinds of junk.

In case you want to learn a little more about them here is a link:

Here is a picture of one of the Screech owls that hangs at our place. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif
Not big fans of their picture taken but I took this one (zoomed in) while it was on the barbed wire fence this morning around 9.
Can you tell what direction it is looking?

A spider (I think it's a type of Orb Weaver), on a cool flower near Kenosha Pass

Thanks Chris! It was definitely looking right at me since I was sneaking up on it to get the pic. giggle.gif Cool picture Dave! I'm not a spider fan but I do get pics of them when I see a col one. Here is a picture of a picture spider that makes pictures with it's web. Maybe we could hook up your Orb spider with the picture spider and get a white picture weaver. laugh.gif
