On December 21, 2020, the closest great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in 397 years will occur. The planets are already very bright and close being visible in the evening sky to the southwest.
These photos show the approach beside a 35 ft Christmas Tree in my backyard about 2 weeks before the conjunction.

Thanks for the heads up post, nice pictures! We will be watching, will be a great time to watch the sky.
The GREAT CONJUNCTION was a very spiritual thing for me this evening. My neighborhood was watching and photographing the event minute by minute.
I was moved spiritually by my next door neighbor's photo taken with her iPhone that she sent to me with much excitement. In my opinion, it was shot looking over Greenhorn Mountain and across Fort Garland into the San Luis Valley from Pueblo, Colorado. I have no reason to doubt her.
