VIEW OF BOILER ON MY CLAIM BETWEEN ALMA & KITE LAKE

Posted by: DoubleTerm Jan 25 2012, 03:41 PM

AlmaBill,

I have seen that boiler many times...... since I was about 12. My family owns the Tanner Boy and Three rivers claim which is directly across the creek from your claim. I am going to try and send you a private email as I am very interested in talking with folks who know the areas history and geology.

I Imagine your both familiar with the area behind Alma. I have spent some time up there climbing, did the Decalibron loop last year "Democrat Cameron Lincoln Bross" also camped up at the lake a few times. I really liked it up there and now that I seem to have the gold bug do you know if there are any claimless areas along the river up there? I would love to spend a weekend camping and playing gold miner if I am able to. Thanks

Amorten..... there are some unclaimed sections and I saw evidence and old dredge tailings on the creek right below my claims.

I will try to copy a map showing claim boundaries and send it to you via private message

Cool old boiler and very neat that you all are hooking up here to coordinate field adventures together, sounds like an awesome adventure to be in on.

For private message copies when sending.......you'll need to click on "save a copy" when sending pm's if you want to save yourself a copy, otherwise it sends out successfully but won't save a copy on the senders end.

I'd love to get up that way and do some prospecting too, keep us posted as you all plan out an adventure. I'm sure there are more folks who might like to take a day trip for a visit to your claims. Thanks for the invites.

Thank you in advance, showed my fiancee your post and she got really excited. Think the dogs are in good spirits as well.
