Colorado Prospector - Gem and mineral prospecting and mining forums _ Wanted _ WTB Dredge Hose

Posted by: Crusty Aug 31 2015, 08:44 AM

Anyone have a local source for 2.5" dredge hose? I need 20'. I ordered some online 2 weeks ago and haven't gotten it. Need to for next weekends GTG, so I'm hoping to find a local back up option if the company responds to my email saying they haven't shipped yet.

Hoping for something in the SPrings or at least close to I-25 in Denver, so I can pick it up on the way through town Thursday.

Thanks!

Pretty sure these folks could hook you up Crusty...You'll want to ask for "water suction and discharge hose" that's the see through suction type you're looking for.

You may want to look at it first. It may be way too stiff to use for dredging. I spent time looking locally a few years ago and couldn't find the flexible stuff. I found it was easier to just order it through Keene as you'll get the right stuff. I usually order through Cindy at Roc Doc over by Buena Vista. You can do it over the phone if you don't want to drive anywhere. They'll drop ship it to you. Golden detectors in Golden ought to have the right stuff also.

Thanks Leonard. I did some Googling and there are a couple folks using 112, but more using 110. I don't see 2.5" 110 on their website, but I'm going to stop in MOnday and see what they have. If I can't get it there, I will see what I can find over the winter.
