This is the egg that was found by Robin's daughters 18 years ago in thier back yard. They were removing landscaping rock to put in sod so the girl had a yard to play in. The youngest daughter (age 5) came walking into the house and announced that she had found an old Easter Egg that had been missed. The egg had definitely been missed and had been in the yard for years. Where the landscaping gravel had come from is a mystery. The egg was taken to the Denver Museum of Natural History and verified and they asked Robin to donate it to the museum. Needless to say it is in our own display! They finally gave up asking after many phone calls (by Katherine Smithers) to again donate it to the museum, each time regected. We hope that you all enjoy this as much as we do.
