Hey folks first time here. I got this site from Jim(jpolk). He said it was one of his favorite so I definetly had to check it out. Anything in particular I need to check out? Is the chat room pretty cool? I hope it's better than mindat chat. I already read the diamond prospecting post. I am really fascinated by diamond occurances in CO. Most are concentrated at or near the wyoming border? A fellow rockhound and I are planning on checking out some diamond occurances here in GA. Hall county has tons of unverified diamond finds. There is quite a bit of literature on this as a lot seemed to be found during gold panning and sluicing a 100 years ago. Well, this is not really the post for this subject, so just wanted to say Hi.

Hi Jason,
Welcome to the CP website and forums, make yourself right at home browsing around. Call me partial but I agree with Jim, this is one of the best websites around...... Glad you found your way to the CP site and thanks Jim. There are many things you should definately check out but keep the coffee warm........you will need refills. Especially some of the Miners Market pages as well as some of the forum threads that can get lengthy. Chat room is currently disabled but should be returning soon we hope, and yes it is a great one to visit. Keep checking back for updates often and enjoy the site. We all will be looking forward to your prospecting adventure stories and pics to come. Good luck with the diamond hunting too.......fun! CP -------------------- CP-Owner/Administrator
