I am a new member to CP from Kansas. This is a great site. biggrin.gif Plan on checking out some of the area claims this September (6-11) while my wife and I are in Colorado. We will be staying in Vail. This will be our first ever event at prospecting for gold. Have done metal detecting for about four years. Retired military.

Look forward to learning a lot about prospecting methods in Colorado.
