I hate to give it up but the fact is most places I go the water flow borders between just barely enough/ not quite enough. Ive already purchased a 24 inch sniper and it's much better for me.
The prospector worked great when I could use it and it CAN eat LARGE volumes of unclassified material while catching the gold. More than you can shovel friends, I guarantee that! It will work as hard as you want to.

It has normal wear and a small crack on the fin on the side of the flare from squeezing it in my pack. It could be fixed with a plastic weld but never had been an issue for me.
I've never modified it and never needed to, although I've considered V matting at the top. It's been an awesome sluice and super easy to use with fast cleanouts.
If anyone has a good trade or an offer. Mining equipment, ammo or gun accessories, gold , silver, cash works too!
I'm also looking for another 24" (including flare) riffle design sluice similar to the royal or jobe or keene for the even smaller water flows and backpack friendly weight.

If I hadn't ordered a 36" a couple weeks ago, I'd take it off your hands! GLWS

I ordered the sniper around the time I put the prospector up for sale and it took over a month to get it. They aren't making them fast enough for demand, that's for sure.

After I found out bazooka shut down I searched around and found a lightly used 36" Prospector locally on Craigslist. Gave it a try for a couple trips and found it isn't ideal for spots with lower water. Great for spots that have a lot of flow and you can shovel right in and as Johnny said, it'll eat up unclassified material as fast as a couple folks can shovel it in. Just not right for me. They were $212 +40-something shipping new and are no longer made. $175 obo and I'd really prefer not to ship. I'm in the springs but can probably meet wherever.

Crusty, that didn't take long at all, good for you. After conversing with you a couple weeks ago about the one Bazooka I did go and buy it, like your self I'm a bit of a gadget collector. I modified the grizzly on it and tried it out, seem to work pretty good, but as you mentioned it does take a bit more water flow for this type of sluice, and you have to clean it out a bit more often, I think the boiler box could be a little longer. Well at least I know if I decide to sell it it'll go quick.
