This is what I'm looking for. I don't hope to find specimens as incredible as these, but I'm definitely going to swing the detectors.
This one was taken from Gilman, Colorado

This one was found with a metal detector.

As I understand it, the specimens (like wire gold in a quartz matrix) are worth more than the intrinsic value of the gold alone!
