Actually stomping is what they do to intimidate one another. I just try to pet them and they take off. laugh.gif

This pic reminds me of a Sesame Street song (because I'm a mom not a fan)........One of these things just doesn't belong here...... mellow.gif spock.gif

Good question but not mine. confused0082[1].gif It just showed up when they were being fed the other morning. Was not what I was expecting to see!! Sure was happy to see some fresh water and seed though.

sadno.gif Actually, it was no where to be seen the next day.

I call it the lucky bunny because the luck it brought with it that day was AMAZING!!!

Weird that it left.... but really cool that he brought you luck! Maybe your bunny community shunned him (black sheep syndrome?).

Hard to say. Some tried to intimidate it but failed. They would get in front of it while it was eating seed, drop their ears and squat down. Tried the stomp thing but didn't work. When one would lash out to smack it a bounce off would begin.....but not for long, one good bounce and it would land right on the other bunny. Size difference was a big plus for it. Was funny because after it thumped a few, the wild bunnies would come over almost to apologize and eat and drink next to it with no problems.

Kind of like school bullies till you turn and put a thumping on them. laugh.gif

Here is a short video of them in action that I took a few months ago. Notice how they try to intimidate one another with staring into the others eyes, dropping their ears and squatting to the ground.
They will even stomp trying to make the other move, sometimes even tagging the other with its front paws.

Almost looks like something from the movie the Matrix...when in the air in mid bounce, they kick, twist and smack one another. ph34r.gif smiley-shocked003.gif

Disappeared just as quick as it arrived. All these baby kits all over the place now, maybe it thought it ended up at a nursery and not the homeless bunny shelter. laugh.gif

Cracks me up how that one bunny in the video got tagged in the behind when it had it's back turned. Thing jumped right out of the video pic right into more trouble.

She's adorable Chris! Are the muddy marks lower on the storm door from them? Almost looks like the right height for noses or paws. confused0082[1].gif biggrin.gif
Maybe she was thinking you need to clean it so she can see in better.

I think so and I cleaned that glass after I looked at the image when I took it.
They have the place to themselves now... but I took a bunch more pics before I left.

Someone woke up surprised to see them gone this morning!
