I have several pictures of animals doing funny things, so I thought a thread for them would be fun. If you have any I would love to see them!
This is one that comes to mind from my collection.....
This is a picture of our old dog Snowy. When she wanted to come in, she would beg a little. Could hear her whining from the other side of the house. Maybe she was thinking, why does the cat get all the good stuff?
Funny pic and fun topic! My pc is still crashed and I'm operating from the smartyphone or I'd add a silly pic or two from the Lulubear archives... hopefully I'm back online later this week. It'll be hard to top that one though!
I'm looking forward to them Chris!
Here is one I took of Mocha kitty looking out the window.
I first have to explain that she had caught a baby bunny several weeks back. We made her release it without harm, but now she has been confined to the house for not playing nicely. Now she grabbs her catnip toy (fuzzy nipper) bouncing from window to window staring at them while they play outside. Amazing how long she can hold that toy in her mouth. Practice for next time maybe?
Not much of a mystery to what she was thinking here though. Beast!
Guess she thinks bunnies would taste good also Woody!
Here is a picture of our fire pit. We usually only use it to heat up water but it definately gets used........just wasn't expecting it to be used for a home. Every time I go to use it, it's filled with fresh dirt with a big hole on the inside edge of the pit.
Check it out Woody, they are practilly jumping onto the grill for us here. What in the world was/is it thinking?
"I really love your rocks!"
See the bunny in the picture?
Denise the kitty can't help wanting to uh...play with the bunnies. It's natural. Of coarse you know this. I'm sure the thought of haveing to clean up after her would suck deluxe. Too bad she hasn't got another hundred pounds or so on her. She could be bringing home deer and antelope to ya. I know I know but I am a man after all.
Haha, your right Jim. She is more interested in the smaller things though right now. Is really funny to watch her though. If she spots a bird out the window, she starts to vibrate her head and meep continuously at it. I do feel bad not letting her out, so we have been taking her to the fenced in garden with us. We tried a leash, but as soon as she realizes it has ahold of her, she goes gonzo so I just carry her. She usually just races to the corn plants and hangs out in there chomping leaves.
When Dan was a kid, his cat use to bring home huge jack rabbits to the door.
Update on the fire pit bunny........
I was working on heating up water at the fire pit and while walking around it my foot sank in to my ankle.....scared the crap out of me!! I pull my foot out and look and there was a bunny looking at me like...Ox! Within a few minutes, it had closed up the caved hole to the right and went back to it's underground business.....sheesh!
I'm pretty sure I know what these Bears were thinking..... "a giant pick-a-nik basket Boo Boo"
I get nightly visits. BUT no more (I hope). The oily substance that you can see on my dumpster is "Icy Hot". I smeared it along the upper perimeter and the sun melted it down today. From what I was told they hate the smell of it.
Crazy bears! Hopefully it will stop them from coming back.........I personally love Icy Hot and am a frequent user.
Getting old is not for sissies..
When the cat decided to go outside and swat at a rattle snake, it was time she come in....sigh..What was she thinking?
Who called for the furry solar panel repair cat?
What in the world was this cat thinking getting on our roof?
I was just about to take a picture of an agate guitar pick I made, and my furry little helper thought it needed further inspection.
Last time she tried to scam a stone from me, it was a flashy Opal she thought was taunting her with it's rolling flashes.
What in the world is she thinking!?
....leggo my aggo!
One of our ninja cats brought in a present just after we had set down for supper a couple of days ago. Luckily the Bat didn't get into the Christmas tree. This is just another of wildlife and reptiles to be add to the list of presents. They bring stuff in and turn it a loose and start showing us all of there ninja moves. Wasn't time for a camera. The Bat disappeared into the dark after some house hold commotion and the ninja hunted all over the house for the Bat. More like what was i thinking
Too funny Burrell! I can definately understand not wanting a freaked out bat for a Christmas tree ornament.
Our cat was bringing us gifts to the front door also, but would just give us dirty looks when we would let them get away. She thinks we stink at this hunting thing.
Crack me up Chris, exactly! If you drop one of those g's, you would have another of her obsessions. LEGO'S!
We nick named her Catzilla because when Timmy builds Lego towers, she comes stomping and biting her way through them. Then she just looks around from inside the now roofless building like it was a job well done. Then off to pick on the dog.
They say "Some people own cats and still go on to lead normal lives" We are still working on that one!
A long time ago my mom gave me a "http://www.kikkerland.com/products/solar-powered-rainbowmaker-+-swarovski-crystal/" for my birthday. I love it!!
It not only makes me happy to watch the rainbows traveling all over the room, but it makes the cat climb the walls!...literally!
I recommend getting one of these. Very relaxing to watch if your not a cat. They are made to be held to the window with a suction cup but I suggest rigging a harnace to hang it from like we do so the unit doesn't just drop from the window.
I see they have one now that has a base to just sit in the window.
Mice were getting into the bird/bunny seed bag, so I brought it inside. The cat and dog heard me filling a cup full for the critters, came running and decided that it was something they also wanted. They chomp it down like it is a special treat. Am I missing something? What are they thinking?
Now I can't get the seed for the birds and bunnies without giving them some also.
Taco one of the 2 ninja cats. They also like the solar panel for some reason.
Cats are definately the most entertaining I think.......for instance.
Our cat really loves the dog! She brings her toys and drops them in front of the dog. Gives her kisses all the time on her forehead, nose and feet. So lovie dovie but something happens and like the Tootsiepop owl, after three licks chomps her nose or ear.
This is from one of my fishing forums. One of the moderators took this pic yesterday in Texas. A deer and dog playing. He said they took off before he could turn his truck around but got this shot. Pretty funny, you can tell the Lab is waggin his tail.
Since that engine swap earlier this winter my Jeep's been purrrrin' like a kitten.
This is Larry the neighbor's cat, he likes me... he's thinking camouflage? Matches the Jeep.
Cute pictures Chris! I have heard stories before about deer and dogs getting along, very neat to see a pic. I bet Larry the cat was cold and you had a warm hood. Cracks me up when I see vehicles with cat tracks all over them.
Gads, eating cigs! I bet the bear was regretting that one later. If you have alot of cats in your neighborhood, it might be a good idea to tap on your hood before you start it, there may be a cat hiding in there for heat.
(hehe, I was hoping someone would get that one)
That squirrel almost looks like he is hoping you start the fire and cook some goodies to share.
He might of smelt the peanuts I was eating :) I thought he was suggesting I sautee him :)
Must be a black and white cat thing for hanging by the solor panels. Beautiful cat Burrell! I really like the black square on his foot and the white patch on his lip.
Well, it finally happened... our horny Moose made national news: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/03/moose-loves-statue_n_3378730.html
Don't you tease him, that's his bronze beauty!
She is always there waiting for him no matter what time of day and she never says no.
Ok, so good reason to tease him!
Isn't there a LGBT club in the area that can "help" this poor fella?
Not much grass growing in this part of Colorado, so when we go out to cut fire wood we bring some back.......
Things that make you go hmmm!
She's thinking.......Mmmmmmmm grass!!! (while the dog waits in line for her share. )
all of our dogs like to eat grass, but our newest dog even likes the munched up grass from under the mower when i clean it out before putting it away! she will eat it like its a bowl full of dog food!
Grass is good for their digestive system.
Good thing our kitty is cute! Not sure what she was thinking when she walked across the keyboard and APPROVED 63 spammers in the forum this morning. OOOPS!
This is what CP looked like when he realized what she did.
I can laugh at him about it now, since he went in and removed them one by one.
Love that kitty of mine!!!
omnivores... like the one in my avatar
With your bear avatar and my bunny avatar, it reminds me of a joke.......
Here is a picture of Mocha enjoying her new (old dead) cat tree. It's about 10' tall.
I wonder what she was thinking while looking off into the distance?
I love this pic of her!
Added another cat tree next to the other.
Maybe I should have added that "no kitty was harmed in the taking of these pictures". She loves it!!
She may be thinking...."I guess so, we are friends and can share....just don't fart!"
Guess the cat was thinking "great time to sneak in and get some puppy love and kisses"!!
Ha! I was totally thinking about the TP joke. Thanks Chris, the cat really loves the trees we put in the yard for her. She has been helping keep Bear feeling young and on her toes also. As you can see Bear is starting to get white racing stripes with age.
It looks to me like someone woke up grouchy, can you tell who is going to get the blunt of it?
Just took this one the other day. Maybe it was thinking we would give it a ride since it wouldn't move.
That pic makes me wanna give Bear a good belly scratchins!
I think the neighbor's cat wants to go to work with me.
Cute!
The cats ready to go and about to hollar out CHAAAARRGE!!!!
Or it's thinkin' why must all this "white stuff" be here today?! I know that's what I'd be thinking about now.......ick and it's still falling! Hope spring breaks for you guys further north soon too you sure have been getting it lately. I saw some Mallards here a few days ago and the geese and cranes have been back for several weeks.
Bear got her belly scratches of course....and some extras for Chris!
Too funny! So how did you coax it off your Jeep? Stash of kitty treats in the glove box?
Ha! Not a bad idea.... I always carry a box of Blue Dog puppy treats everywhere I go, very handy!
After a long day of terrorizing her siblings and grandparents. Our last pup passes out.
D, your furbabies are the cutest!!!!!
Awww, she's an adorable little puppy!! Guess she was thinking, enough of this day...have another long day of terrorizing ahead of me tomorrow. Thanks for the compliments of our furbabies! I somedays think (especially with the bunnies) that it is a good thing they are cute.
Looked out the window today and saw three bunnies against the house. The one was on all fours digging like a dog slinging the dirt between it's legs while the other two watched like they were waiting for their turn like a tag team. I opened the window and hollered out "QUIT". They all just stopped and stared at me like what.
Little stinkers!! Good thing their cute!!
Haha!! Too funny Dypheron, good point!!
What a bunch of turkeys!!!!
Stomp at 'em! After they get used to it, they might just start stomping back at ya.
Actually stomping is what they do to intimidate one another. I just try to pet them and they take off.
This pic reminds me of a Sesame Street song (because I'm a mom not a fan)........One of these things just doesn't belong here......
The pet bunny?
Good question but not mine. It just showed up when they were being fed the other morning. Was not what I was expecting to see!! Sure was happy to see some fresh water and seed though.
Aww it adopted you <3 <3
Actually, it was no where to be seen the next day.
I call it the lucky bunny because the luck it brought with it that day was AMAZING!!!
It's welcome here anytime though.
Weird that it left.... but really cool that he brought you luck! Maybe your bunny community shunned him (black sheep syndrome?).
Hard to say. Some tried to intimidate it but failed. They would get in front of it while it was eating seed, drop their ears and squat down. Tried the stomp thing but didn't work. When one would lash out to smack it a bounce off would begin.....but not for long, one good bounce and it would land right on the other bunny. Size difference was a big plus for it. Was funny because after it thumped a few, the wild bunnies would come over almost to apologize and eat and drink next to it with no problems.
Kind of like school bullies till you turn and put a thumping on them.
Here is a short video of them in action that I took a few months ago. Notice how they try to intimidate one another with staring into the others eyes, dropping their ears and squatting to the ground.
They will even stomp trying to make the other move, sometimes even tagging the other with its front paws.
Almost looks like something from the movie the Matrix...when in the air in mid bounce, they kick, twist and smack one another.
http://youtu.be/lT6wZR__32I
You should name him Morpheus!
Disappeared just as quick as it arrived. All these baby kits all over the place now, maybe it thought it ended up at a nursery and not the homeless bunny shelter.
Cracks me up how that one bunny in the video got tagged in the behind when it had it's back turned. Thing jumped right out of the video pic right into more trouble.
hmmmm.....

She's adorable Chris! Are the muddy marks lower on the storm door from them? Almost looks like the right height for noses or paws.
Maybe she was thinking you need to clean it so she can see in better.
I think so and I cleaned that glass after I looked at the image when I took it.
They have the place to themselves now... but I took a bunch more pics before I left.
Maybe she was saying good bye to you. Bet you're going to miss that place Chris!!
Last seen headed down the road at a fast pace........2 runaway llamas! Guess they were thinking it's time to blow this popsicle stand.
Someone woke up surprised to see them gone this morning!
Bet they knew it was shearing time!
Too funny Scott!! I didn't think about that. Now that you mention it, his leg did look a bit strange. So he was probably thinking, "I am not letting them do this to me again this year! I'm out of here, you coming babe?!" Poor guy!
Crazy cat's thinking......."I don't care if your name is on it, it's not your box!!" I call this picture...The Claim Department. and claim she did!
I think I know what they were thinking.....
"Wish we were outside where the woo-hoo bars are!"
Nope.... they're thinking "Bet those bunnies are tasty"
That is one of the cutest "buddies" pics I've ever seen!
Ha, Caveman nailed it, just need to add birds to the mix!
They remind me of the wolf and the sheep dog cartoon. Great friends till they punch in on the time clock for the day.
Was early so they hadn't punched in yet.
