This treasure choice is a polished batch of Colorado thundereggs.....some more shell than egg, chores017.gif but the "Fawn's head" center piece thunderegg is a dandy t-egg half!
Great agatization in all of them and all 5 are flat polished to a high sheen and ready for your collection. Both pair sets in the pic will stand on their own for shelf diplaying too. "Fawn's head" center piece egg half is approx. 3.5 inches wide x 2.5 inches tall.

This Gold in Quartz cabochon with panning sample, cabochon weighs in at a hefty 10+ cts. Stone is from California's motherlode territory.
Stabilized and cabbed by us here at the ColoradoProspector lapidary shop. Stone size is 14 mm x 10 mm, polished on both front and back. Will make an awesome ring or necklace stone!
You will also get the grindings in a sample placer dirt for panning practice if you choose this treasure.

Today we are adding a pair of Oregon thundereggs. Both are cut and polished in the CP lapidary shop and have really nice blue colors as well as plumes. Image was left full size so you can click on it to enlarge for better detail. These came from the Priday ranch in Oregon, sizes are approximately 3 inches by 2.25 inches and the smaller approximately 3 inches by 1.5 inch wide.
Both thundereggs also show some brilliant reds along the edges. jawdrop.gif Wow! these will make a great addition to someones collection! happy088.gif

Todays addition to the stash compartment is a really nice set of 3 thundereggs. All 3 have been cut and polished by Denise and myself.
Two double thundereggs are from the Priday ranch in Oregon and the center one is from the Baker pit New Mexico. Both Oregon eggs are very nice blues with the lower double having great plumes inside. The center NM egg didn't really form a large "pocket" of agate in this piece but rather spread through out the entire egg structure. There is a small bright orange/red pocket and it polished out so nicely with vivid red, whites, and blues. smileyflag.gif Picture is full size, click on the image for a larger view with more details on all of them. This set of 3 thundereggs will make a nice addition to your collection. happy088.gif
Sizes are approximately (from top to bottom) 3 inches by 2 inches, 2.75 inches by 2 inches, and 3 inches by 2.25 inches.

This treasure chest item is a panners 3 picker pack in one bag of CP placer dirt, (Fairplay).
The three little pickers in the pic smile.gif (pun intended), weigh about 0.3 gram all together and should be really fun to pan out of one regular bag of CP placer dirt which will also have gold in it! happy088.gif

Today we are adding this furry 0.8 gram nugget to a regular CP placer dirt, (Fairplay). Check out the character this nugget has. Wow! smiley-shocked003.gif
What a great panning afternoon this one will make for someone soon in addition to the other gold found in the placer dirt. biggrin.gif There's even a small bit of host matrix left toward the middle. Wonder how close to the source this one was? drool.gif biggrin.gif

New treasure chest item today is a matching pair of hearts from an Oregon thunderegg
The right one is about 35mm x 35mm x 11mm thick and set with a sterling silver necklace hoop, and the left one is 32mm x 32mm x 4mm thick.
Both are completely polished front and back so either side may be shown/worn.

Just add a necklace chain and you'll be set to go. happy088.gif

This treasure chest item is a panners 0.2 gram picker gold flake in one bag of CP placer dirt, (Fairplay).

A sweet picker it is too, very pretty characteristics, I'm sure anyone would be happy to find this in their pan.
