I just looked over this site and was impressed at just how many boulders I could easily move out of the way with this guys methods.

of course all this would be covered under the removal fill permit, and would easily accomodate Washington states dumb "put it back where it came from rule" and would allow various new methods to getting the gold.

Now all I need is a Pelton Wheel for the pump issue......

I'm starting a new business.....simplistic tripod technology....easily setup and broke down....available to prospectors in the rivers....3 new sizes good for 500, 1000, 2000 lbs....

MRT Enterprises sticker on each unit, 3 boulder warranty :D laugh.gif :D

I've heard that saying, but the last sentence was "for his own grave" :D

I'm thinking of a simple tripod with beam using 5 gallon buckets of water from the river to use as the offset weights. I know it can be easily made and implemented for boulder removal...

or this completely different Idea:

600 pound boulder
9'x12' Tarp
Various Rope lengths of 20-25'

Tie Ropes around Boulder, Tie Ropes to Tarp
Then using the waters current inflate the tarp with the waters current creating a parachute effect and dragging the boulder right out of position....Let go of the rope and the parachute deflates.......untie and put away.

Keeping it simple
