:( I spoke with Jennifer of the Land Quality Div regarding renewing my permit for Douglas Creek Wyo. Her responds was, because of the current drought ALL dredge permit request including renewals, were being forwarded to the Forest Service for their review. Permits will be granted in order of date recieved.
I sent my today, she also suggest filling out the entire application even if it's just a renewal (I did write RENEWAL on the face of the application, don't know if it will do any good, but couldn't hurt) I suggest anyone planning on going to Wyoming this year should get their applications in ASAP -------------------- "Nobody get's in to see the Wizard, not nobody not no how."

If we run into a roadblock on the Wyoming permits, the CCC may be able to offer the option of the Arkansas near Buena Vista. The water is historically high there that time of year though. Thats why we go to Douglas Creek. If Douglas Creek isn't available, the Arkansas with high water or not looks attractive. Ed, Johnok, and I have 1 1/2 miles of the river claimed. We ought to be able to fit everyone in.

You guys at the CCC are really good people. I know the mining gods are smiling down on you. I will take you up on your offer and, I'll see you in the parking lot with a cold one in my hand and another for you at the rally :D

Just got my approval back today, 3 weeks isn't bad at all I was expecting worse. It does state if the drought should worsen there may be more resrtictions imposed.
I'll see you guys o the creek bank :) :) :) :) :) :) -------------------- "Nobody get's in to see the Wizard, not nobody not no how."
