I haven't made alot of posts, but I need help with some information.

This summer I want to go camping and prospecting north on Buena Vista on a GPAA claim. I know it's publicly owned land under BLM management. Does the BLM have a web site? I'd like to know specific rules and regulations concerning camping out. (i.e. are campfires allowed, etc.) I guess I could call or write but
the internet is so convienent.

Any info. is greatfully appreciated!

Hi Mike,

Great to hear from you.
Guess it was time for an update on the BLM/Royal Gorge field office too.
They have been redoing some things again and their site is looking good.

Here is their site main page link
BLM-Royal Gorge Field Office

And this link will bring up the printable pdf permit......updated for 2008 even!
ARKANSAS RIVER NOTICE FOR MOTORIZED PLACER OPERATIONS

Good luck out there Mike and post some pics of the fun and finds later.
