About to start bowling... this is what I picked out of the +30 mesh. Not bad. The concentrate is from 12 buckets of 1/2" sluiced. Will follow up with the rest.

Final tally from last 12 buckets of 1/2" class, hand sluiced. Nothing big, but good yield for only 12 buckets I think. (also...1943 silver wheat penny from my stash)

Great for 12 buckets! Looks like more than I get from a days dredging, which is way more than 12 buckets!

Would like to get out earlier this week, but it looks like I won't be able to make it until Friday. Anyone else available? Will be bringing a friend/prospective club member.
Well shit... just checked the weather; high of 38 with rain/snow... guess I'll wait and see what develops over the week. Looks like rain/snow and low temps all week -------------------- Find Colorado Prospector on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/170314493176558

I'm slammed with work for at least the next couple of weeks. Bummer for prospecting, good for eating lol got the new dredge nozzle; look forward to seeing how much of a difference having the 1.5" suction works! -------------------- Find Colorado Prospector on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/170314493176558

Went down there on Saturday, met Emac. Had a great time. The water is starting to come up.

Which side of the creek did y'all work? -------------------- Find Colorado Prospector on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/170314493176558

I did set up my stuff here yesterday to run 5 buckets of material from Swizz's claim I got last Oct, so I'll blue bowl it today instead -------------------- Find Colorado Prospector on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/170314493176558

Weather is looking a little rough at this point for the weekend. Looks like land research and/or blue bowling in my living room is my Saturday mining activity this week. Anyone going out this weekend?

Anyone going out this weekend? Unless things change, looks like a crappy weather weekend, so I probably won't be out. -------------------- Find Colorado Prospector on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/170314493176558

On the website http://www.cotrip.org/ there are links to CDOT cameras. There is one in the pullout that looks east and you can see the creek. It's a good check to see current weather conditions and how
high the creek is flowing. |
