I'll kick this off.

Some smelting supplies vendors are better at service than others--that's a fact.

Some offer service to the "big boys" and don't want to mess with the "hobbyist."

Mostly,
I get email gripes that someone will sell to you allright...
but you gotta buy 144,
or a case of 12,
or 50# when you need 10 grams
... or offer you a set of FAXed pix of their inventory...
which...duh...only have their parts numbers
and then yer stuck with some Swahilli speaking "Cust. Srvc Rep" that can only read numbers and pull stock---
====without a CLUE as to what the temps ratings are or familiarity with the legit uses we are seeking specific info for.

Let's take the mystery out of buying on this thread.

Let's take the economic pinch out of being stuck with quantities when you only want 3 of something and you had to buy a case of 12 to get your three and you don't want to sell the extra on ebay and invoice and collect and ship and all that auction stuff.

Let's take the gobbledegook out of vendor catalogs and save time and money for the gang on this forum if you've had experience with a vendor.

Let's help all those vendors out there SERVE US BETTER by our becoming better informed consumers when we call and wave our hard earned money under their noses, expecting--gawd forbid-- BOTH product and service. laugh.gif
