He's an adorable dog Wyodust.
Here is a pic I took last summer of a Blue Grouse, and they say this particular one is in the coastal region, but I took this pic in the Rocky Mountain National Park at 10, 500' or so.

Man, you should have seen that snake! Doing is hissing and coiling up....lol! Man, what a kicker! Everybody there enjoyed it! Well, execept for the snake, that is. He coiled up so far he flipped over on his back, STILL hissing!

Not safe Carl! Is that your hand taunting it? When im out taking pictures of wildlife, I only interact with them with my camera. I never mess with them. I have had animals react to the shutter on the camera and if at the wrong time of the year, It might cost ya. :o Be careful out there Carl.
