Good one Jack,

We started a thread for these "Rock Talk" quarterly newsletters about 4 years ago I think and there is a whole list for everyone to pick from of different topics for Colorado's geology. Here is the link for the list of all past PDF files/titles at the Colorado Geolical Survey website.
They are all PDF files and great information for referencing too.
The one Jack posted above is the "Colorado Gold" issue from April of 03'.

Happy readin' everyone, learnin' is such fun!! signs021.gif

Wow, thanks Jack. I really enjoyed that read. I also went to the Colorado Geological Survey site as a result, browsed, and ordered a book. Colorado's mining history is pretty fascinating. Kinda makes it tough to complain about a backache after a day of prospecting when you see what these guys went through back then when gold wasn't even near the relative value it is now. We're a bunch of Nancy-boys compared to the old-timeys.
Great post!
