Hello everyone!
I'm kind of a new one in prospecting and mining but managed to secure myself a nice claim at Park County on a Michigan Creek. Comming this summer I'm planning on poking around at the claim little bit more and ordering Cold Cube with trommel for that reason. The main question, do I need any kind of permit to run it on my claim? So far I was able to find that some dredges need the permit and some motorised equipment needs it but I don't know in what category Cold Cube with trommel will fell to. |

You won't need to involve them unless you want to bring in heavy equipment and start moving mountains.
Coming to your claim a few times a year for some gold wouldn't amount to any disturbance with a gold cube and a shovel, especially inside the high water line. A 3x3 is only a small test hole! Hehe It's up to YOU to decide when the significant level is reached but you probably wouldn't get there without spending a summer at the claim and major dirt being moved. Youre at the small scale miner stage and using hand tools now so no worries. -------------------- Level 2 member -12/25/16
