The resources necessary to initiate and move this process through to completion will put demands on making materials from minerals produced in the USA and that is awesome!

With our "net zero" emission mining equipment and electric backhoes and solar powered wash plants haha. It's all a ridiculous pipe dream and impossible to accomplish those goals or to expect Washington to be competent enough even if we could a accomplish it. Just not reality.

Natural Selection Reality: ADAPT OR DIE A bit of history on mining claims development where I have ownership interests. After discover, the rich gold ores on London Mountain were processed using a windmill for power. This was a tremendous advancement over the arrastra that was the cutting edge technology of that time. "Zero Emmision" Gold Ore Processing This method sufficed until the railroad arrived from South Park City and the windmill was destroyed by a pre-global-warming storm. The ore processing methods at London Mountain and South Park continued to be advanced as the technology and cost/benefit ratio allowed. Now, a mining company had better be considering an operation that is as close to "carbon neutral" as possible. Otherwise, the bonding and other permitting restrictions might put the operation out of business. Just my opinion. ASTROBLEME -------------------- Annual Dues Paying Member Since 2008

Think, 10 years in the future, waiting for the Super Bowl to start and the solar powered fighter jets do a flyover! The first thing we need to get rid of is Ethanol and I promise you we will still be using Ethanol in a 100 years!! This isn't about science this is about politics and complete control of your life!! We can certainly do better but this is not the answer. Look forward to seeing you this summer. Easy goer |

Easy goer Hello Easygoer, This rapid move to socialism is all about politics and gaining control over those unwilling to work for their own personal freedom and opportunity. After seeing this movement evolve and become more radicalized, from my perspective, it's all about getting some of their money instead of them getting all of mine. They don't care about capitalism (AMAZON getting run out of NY as the most recent example) nor do the Green Dreamers care at all about the importance of maintaining a vibrant mining economy in the USA. I see no evidence that the Green Dreamers have any idea as to the quantity of raw material needing to be mined and processed in order to complete their plans for such a rapid shift in energy, economics and lifestyles. Thankfully, their minds are easily influenced by a proper marketing strategy. That is why I am willing to sell as many green minerals to those New Green Dealers that they can afford! Greenbacks are readily accepted. Now I've tried my best to get rid of ethanol as often as possible over more than a half-century. My preference is 5% lager, aged over Beechwood, using electricity from 100% renewable wind power supplied to the Fort Collins Budweiser brewery When you're planning on being in the neighborhood, give me a shout. We can get together and try our best to rid the environment of as much ethanol as possible. ASTROBLEME -------------------- Annual Dues Paying Member Since 2008
