A new and never before seen meteor shower is possible this month. Some researchers say there could be as many as 200 per hour or it could be a dud showing. The comet trail debris we'll travel through on the night of the 23rd-24th was laid out in space when the gold rush boom days of the 1800's were hoppin'! Who knows what we'll see, all the prospectors back then were too busy diggin' I guess to notice what the comet was doing then. emoticon-misc-004.gif tongue.gif

Looks like it wasn't as big as they were first thinking. Most seen in some states were up to 8-10 an hour and much less for others. kick_can.gif Was really cloudy but Dan did get to see one really slow bright one at 1:00. Maybe the timing was off a bit and there will be more of a showing tonight.
